Join mini for a workshop consisting of two contrasting classes that compliment each other by focusing on resetting the nervous system, by both energising and soothing it. Both practices are focused on the breath, as breath is a great tool to access what’s happening inside the body and mind.
We will be gently stretching, squeezing and massaging the organs, spine, muscles, tendons and joints.
There will be one hour of heated moving meditation, which will cultivate energy up the spine, and thus flushing out the nervous system and toxins in the body and mind.
Then moving into a 75min restorative class, which is aimed at relieving stress, anxiety and insomnia. We hold postures using props to start working on a deeper level both physically and mentally. After the flushing of the nervous system from the heated class, it will be time to restore the nervous system which the restorative class will be focusing on. Ending with some deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra.
Join us for an afternoon of self-care to unwind and destress your body and mind after the long year.

Join Erica for a workshop of RENEWAL, Body Mind & Breath.
As 2019 draws to a close, the end of a year but also a decade,
we will create space to feel a deep sense of gratitude for the last chapter and find ways to move into 2020 with ease and vitality.
Samskaras are individual impressions, ideas, or actions that make up our conditioning. Samskaras can be positive but equally they can be negative, as in negative mental patterns that underlie low self-esteem and self-destructive relationships. The negative samskaras are what hinder our positive evolution.
To change or create healthier samskaras, setting sankalpa(intention) can unite our mind with those deeper parts of ourselves that can be so hard to access. Conscious use of sankalpa is a compelling way of communicating what we want to our emotional and spiritual bodies.
Our Yang practice will work physically on squeezing and
massaging the organs, spine and muscles,
creating space in the body to release old blockages. Flushing toxins while creating energy by moving with
our breath into twists, backbends and inversions.
While our Yin practice will also release toxins
and blockages along the meridian lines and
free up fascia to release tightness in the body
and restore the nervous system.

Back To Basics Yoga Workshop w/ Niki
January 25th - Saturday 3-5pm €25
This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to;
Breathing techniques (Pranayama) we use during a yoga class (3 phase breath, alternative nostril breathing)
The foundation of basic yoga poses (proper alignment, where to feel, what muscles, common mistakes)
Basic modifications in case of an injury
Breathing is the key element of yoga before any physical practice. After we learnt how to control our breath, we will move on to basic yoga poses and work on the proper alignment. Be safe and confident during class.
