This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to;
Breathing techniques (Pranayama) we use during a yoga class (3 phase breath, alternative nostril breathing)
The foundation of basic yoga poses (proper alignment, where to feel, what muscles, common mistakes)
Basic modifications in case of an injury
Breathing is the key element of yoga before any physical practice. After we learnt how to control our breath, we will move on to basic yoga poses and work on the proper alignment. Be safe and confident during class.

Relax into this beautiful Valentine's Sound Bath with a deeply immersive, full body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture the mind and body.
Sink into a Sound Bath and your brain waves will slowly shift you into a dreamlike state. The sounds introduced during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to return to presence and deep rest.

Subtle Body Anatomy and Energy Medicine with Veronica Larsson
This is a CPD 20hrs Teacher Training on the inner world of energy; all the stuff you can actually perceive, but not necessarily see or touch. Understanding the basic laws of Nature, as embodied in our biology, teaches us to use this energy to creatr optimal health, balance, and harmony, both in our yoga-practice and in our lives. It is over two weekends, one in January 4/5th and one in February 22/23rd.
Working primarily with the Subtle Body aspects of the Chakras; energy centers, the Vayu's; winds, and the Nadi's; energy pathways, touching also on Guna (quality) and Kosha (sheath) All of these aspects influence our human experience hugely; our physiology, our mental state and mood, our energy, breath, heart and spirit. Not to mention our relationships, our work, and how we create our lives! Applying the underlying principles of natural movement of energy, as is expressed in the Subtle Body, allows us to tap into a vast resource of energy and vitality, that helps to balance the nervous and endocrine systems, that allows healing to spontaneously occur, and that gently and powerfully direct you onto your life's path whilst burning away karmic energy.
Veronica is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500hr, and has trained teachers on accredited courses for over 12 years. She now teaches the Subtle Body Anatomy and Energy Medicine module in the Elbowroom in Dublin on their 300hr teacher training, and teaches workshops, trainings and retreats in Ireland and California.
